We have developed an innovative cooling system that harnesses the power of cold plasma to keep electronic components at optimal temperature. Our small cell system generates this plasma through the application of high-voltage electricity, creating an ionic wind that can be directed towards the heat source. Our air purification systems use the Corona Discharge Effect technology to eliminate bacteria, viruses, fungi, and bad odours. We separate neutral particles in the air into ions and electrons, resulting in an oxidising environment. The ionic wind created by the process then removes these particles from the air, resulting in a safe and impurity-free environment.
Our products are suitable for a variety of applications, such as hotels, classrooms, offices, restaurants and health facilities. They help promote a healthy and safe environment, with the benefit of silent products.
DISCHARGE EFFECT ?
At Cedrion, we use the Corona Discharge Effect to create cutting-edge cooling and air purification systems. This effect is caused by the ionisation of air surrounding a high-voltage conductor, generating an electrohydrodynamic phenomenon called ionic wind.
The ionic wind is created when ions are formed in the airflow by harnessing the electrostatic forces that arise at the tips of sharp conductors, such as spikes or blades, subjected to high voltage relative to the ground.
These ions travel from the Corona Electrode to the Collector (ground), colliding with neutral particles in the air along the way, causing the air to flow back and forth.
We harness the power of the Corona Discharge Effect to direct the ionic wind toward the heat source, effectively refrigerating it. This makes our products highly efficient, compact, and environmentally friendly.

CEDRION is an innovative company founded in 2017, specialized in the field of atmospheric plasma generation devices using air. Since its beginning, the company has focused on developing venting solutions for the aerospace and automotive industries.
CEDRION enters the field of biotechnology after verifying the effectiveness of its systems in the treatment of bacteria on surfaces, focusing primarily on development for hospitals and the food industry.
In addition, after testing the efficiency of the technology for the removal of virus, bacteria, allergens, other pathogens and odors in actual conditions, together with the increasing concern of the society due to the outbreak of the pandemic, CEDRION develops new solutions validated by different institutions, including the Centro Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), which proved its superior efficiency compared to other systems available in the market.
